What do the results of the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey say about UK universities?
With the National Student Survey of final-year undergraduates under “radical” review, there is always the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey to provide a comforting sense of continuity in difficult times. That may be because it is run by Advance HE rather than a government that until recently was committed to breaking things to see what happened.
The Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey has the advantage over the NSS of being both a longitudinal study of postgraduate student opinion and a snapshot of any given year. The latest set of results, for the postgraduate student cohort of 2019-20, is published this morning.
