A Hepi report seeks to explain the causes of student sadness

Today, the Higher Education Policy Institute publishes its latest policy note, which is admirably ambitious in its aim: to identify the causes of poor student wellbeing.

According to Tim Blackman, vice-chancellor of The Open University and author of the report, student wellbeing is often seen “through the lens of counselling and mental health support”.
