The government publishes guidance on the reopening of university campuses

Will no-one think of the Playbookers? The Department for Education is making a frustrating habit of releasing seemingly important announcements at about 6.30pm. Today’s Playbook was already in the can by 6.29pm last night, with a veritable smorgasbord of stories about student continuation rates, plagiarism detection software and Dominic Grieve.

Alas, at 6.31pm we were reshuffling the deck after we received the latest press notice from the department: guidance on reopening higher education campuses and buildings. This is important, we thought. Don’t worry, all those other stories are still included below.
