The education department is recruiting advisers and the UCU to ballot members on pay offer
With the number of reported deaths from Covid-19 and the rate of new cases mercifully falling, we are beginning to move from one stage of the pandemic to another—but it could be equally challenging. The government and industry are moving from reaction to reflection and are beginning to think about what happens next.
To help with this task, the Department for Education has set out to recruit a team of tertiary education advisers. Sixteen job adverts for posts within the department’s “further and higher education team” are open on the government’s website.
