The first Graduate Outcomes survey results are released and the REF deadline is confirmed
Letters will go out today confirming midday on 31 March 2021 as the revised deadline for submissions to the Research Excellence Framework. This follows a survey seeking views on a timescale for the REF, which was postponed because of Covid-19.
The exercise will resume in full on 31 July, eight months ahead of the revised deadline. Updated guidance on any revisions will be published before then, after further consultations. The staff census date of 31 July remains unchanged, and amended timings for the panel nominations process will follow shortly.
