What will the Commons education committee ask Gavin Williamson this morning?
These things are planned long in advance, but the timing could not be more inopportune for education secretary Gavin Williamson. At 10am today, he will be giving evidence to the Commons education committee.
His pain will be slightly mitigated by the virtual nature of the session, but his best bet is to hope for another internet outage in central London. Williamson will be accompanied by Susan Acland-Hood, the newly permanent secretary at the Department for Education.
