Universities UK publishes plans to combat low-quality courses

Probably the last thing that universities need right now is another ‘framework’. After all, we already have the Research Excellence Framework, the Teaching Excellence Framework and the Knowledge Exchange Framework.

Yesterday, Universities UK published a Framework for Programme Reviews in England. In effect, this is UUK’s response to several years of complaints from the Conservative government about ‘low-quality’ courses.
