A research council equality group is suspended and the science secretary speaks on AI
The funding agency UK Research and Innovation is suspending a panel on equality, diversity and inclusion—less than a week after it was announced—following complaints by the science secretary about views expressed by its members.
Michelle Donelan wrote to UKRI on Saturday saying she was outraged by tweets commenting on the Israel-Hamas war, posted or shared by members of the group.
