Playbook looks at the findings of an APPG report on the cost of living crisis
Yesterday, it is fair to say, was not a day for higher education news stories to grab any headlines. With former prime minister Boris Johnson appearing before the House of Commons privileges committee, not to mention the latest in a long line of Brexit deals being voted through parliament, it was always going to be a battle for other news stories to push their heads above the water.
There was very little in the way of higher education implications of Johnson’s Partygate interrogation (his time as shadow higher education minister didn’t crop up), but any progress on the Windsor Framework—which seeks to tidy up the dog’s dinner that is Brexit and Northern Ireland—should be seen as a positive for universities.
