Survey shows hostility towards reintroduction of fees, while union fears ‘damage’ to finances
Reintroducing tuition fees for Scotland’s universities would put around two thirds of applicants off higher education next year, a survey has revealed.
Polling carried out by research firm Progressive for the University and College Union and published on 2 July showed 63 per cent of respondents said they would defer their place at university this autumn if tuition fees were introduced.
