Graduate earnings rise when self-employment is included.

The decision to connect tuition fees in England to job prospects six months after graduation has been questioned by a comprehensive study that includes self employment.

All those who graduated between 2005 and 2015 were included in the study, which combined data from schools, universities and tax records to identify earnings at one, three, five and ten years after graduation by institution.
