UK student mobility scheme ‘must be compatible with Erasmus+’

   

University experts warn students would miss out without access to the EU’s programme

European university experts have called on the UK to ensure any post-Brexit homegrown student exchange scheme is compatible with the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme.

Speaking during a webinar hosted by the Higher Education Policy Institute on 7 December, associate director for student recruitment at Trinity College Dublin Declan Coogan said the “ideal situation” would be continued membership of Erasmus+, rather than an alternative UK system.
