Successful institutions will develop postgraduate conversion courses
Eighteen universities have successfully bid for a share of a £13 million fund that aims to increase the number of graduates in artificial intelligence and data science technologies over the next three years.
The Office For Students said the money would be used to launch “innovative postgraduate conversion courses” in AI artificial and data science. It says the courses will allow graduates from both STEM and non-STEM subjects to “significantly boost their digital skills—helping to address the shortage of AI and data specialists joining the UK workforce”.
