Employability has steadily climbed up the priority list over the past decade, as graduates seek a return on their investment in tough economic times. But the host of new initiatives and support services developed by universities has yet to deliver.
There has been no improvement in the numbers of institutions outperforming their benchmarks in the destinations of leavers survey, which quizzes graduates on what they are doing six months after leaving higher education.
