Egypt’s Mansoura University wracked by protests

Protesting students from Egypt’s Mansoura University are demanding the resignation of all faculty deans appointed under Hosni Mubarak, in order to ensure fair elections at the university.

A vehicle containing the arts dean Mohamed Ghoneim and the dean of the faculty of veterinarian medicine, Saeed El-Sherbiny, ploughed into a group of protestors, injuring 15, earlier this month.
