International outlook could boost African universities

Two African universities have to wait until Thursday to find out if they are still in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings for 2011 to 2012.

South Africa’s University of Cape Town (UCT) will be waiting to see if it cracked the list of the top 100 universities. UCT came in at 107th place in the Times’ 2010-2011 rankings.
