Ghanaian think tank holds conference on health

Clement Ahiadeke, director of Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), has said that maternal deaths could be reduced if health professionals in Ghana were not so rude to pregnant women.

Ahiadeke, based at the University of Ghana in Accra, expressed concern about the treatment of mothers-to-be at antenatal clinics and in delivery rooms.
