The Centre for Research in Transportation Technologies at the College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology at Makerere University in Uganda has part-manufactured and part-assembled Uganda’s first electric vehicle.
The US$35,000 vehicle made a four-kilometre test run around the university’s campus on 1 November.
