Developing countries are the favoured destination for clinical trials, due to the absence of ethical frameworks, delegates at the World Conference of Science Journalists (WCSJ 2011) heard recently.
Up to 15 percent of global trials are expected to have taken place in India by the end of this year while Africa is also witnessing more clinical trials.
