Ugandan lecturers threaten to strike over pension payouts

Lecturers at Makerere University are threatening to strike in August this year if the government doesn’t pay the balance of their pensions, reports the Daily Monitor.

The government has owed the lecturers about US$ six million in pension payouts for six years.
