Cash-strapped South Sudan aims for think tank

Salva Kiir Mayardit, the president of South Sudan, this month said he was in favour of establishing an academic think tank.

Kiir was speaking at Juba University to mark the country’s first month of independence, according to the Sudan Tribune, a non-profit website based in Paris since 2003.
