A day-long workshop on the state of one of East Africa’s leading universities will be held on 23 August this year at the Makerere Institute of Social Research (MISR) in Kampala.
The idea is to assess Makerere University a decade after Uganda’s National Resistance Movement government passed the Universities and Other Tertiary Institutions Act (UOTIA) legislation.
