The Rwanda Innovation Endowment Fund (RIEF) launched this year in April opened its doors for funding applications on 15 October.
The fund aims to stimulate research and development in innovative market-oriented products and processes. It has US$600,000 (Rwf375 million) in its kitty. The aim is to grow it to US$1m by the end of the year.
