Postdoc fellowship on genetics and infectious diseases

The University of Johannesburg in South Africa is offering a two-year postdoctoral fellowship to examine the role of African genetic diversity in vulnerability to tuberculosis and cancer.

The fellowship is worth R200,000 (US$23,000) per year. Applicants will need a PhD in biochemistry, genetics, bioinformatics or another relevant discipline. Some experience in genetic research techniques is a bonus.
