Opportunities for African researchers will arise from an agreement to undertake collaborative projects signed by two international agricultural organisations on 12 July.
The Consortium of International Agricultural Research Centers (CGIAR) and the UN Food and Agricultural Organization will jointly implement projects that include making new technologies available to small-scale farmers, particularly in Africa.
