An African funding base is needed to reduce the continent’s dependency on donors in agricultural research, says a report published last month.
The report was produced by the Agricultural Science and Technology Indicators initiative and the Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa, drawing on discussions at an agricultural R&D conference held in Ghana last December.
