IBM’s Kenya lab to offer training

IBM’s first African research lab in Kenya, announced on 13 August, will offer research training to postdoctoral academics.

The Nairobi-based Catholic University of Eastern Africa is hosting the research lab, which will offer a Resident Scientist Programme that will allow IBM researchers to mentor African academics for a year. Researchers working in government or research institutions also qualify for the programme.
