Niger gets funds to help tackle climate change

Niger has been allocated US$13 million for a programme to improve its national climate observation capacity and support climate research.

The funding was approved on 18 May by the Pilot Program for Climate Resilience—one of the Climate Investment Funds, a global financing instrument designed to lower emissions and support climate-resilient development.
