South African students set off for Europe

Ninety South African winners of the EU-funded Erasmus Mundus mobility programme bid farewell at a ceremony at Stellenbosch University on 3 August.

The scholarships—for which the call for applications was issued in 2010—were awarded to 44 master’s students, 25 doctoral students and 21 university staff members, who will spend time in Europe.
