Mapping health funding: opportunity at Research Africa

Research Africa is offering students based in the US—particularly those supported by the National Science Foundation—the opportunity to study trends in health research funding from its offices in Cape Town, South Africa.

The opportunity is part of USAID’s research and innovation fellowships. The fellow will spend 2-6 months in Cape Town investigating the size, nature and impact of health research funding flows to Africa over the past decade.

The project will assist in creating and refining a replicable methodology for analysing research funding flows in a developing country setting.
