South Africa’s DST seeks bilateral cooperation officer

The South African government’s Department of Science and Technology wants an assistant director for overseas bilateral cooperation, focusing on Europe and the Middle East.

The successful candidate will be the DST’s representative to increase South Africa’s international cooperation in science and technology with these regions, and to ensure the country’s policies are in line with global trends.

Applicants need a relevant degree, up to three years’ experience in science research and international relations, and be open to frequent national and international travel.
