The European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership has launched a prize to honour scientists who have contributed to the development of health research in sub-Saharan Africa.
The Pascoal Mocumbi prize was announced at the launch of the second phase of the EDCTP in South Africa on 2 December.
The winner of the prize will receive €50,000 (US$61,400) and a trophy.
