Climate change centre seeks science director

A German-funded Southern Africa climate change centre seeks to fill a newly created post of director of science, technology and capacity development, based in Windhoek, Namibia.

The Southern Africa Service Centre for Climate Change and Adaptive Land Management was established by Angola, Botswana, Namibia, South Africa and Zambia to research, build capacity and develop projects relating to the effects of climate change.

The successful candidate will be responsible for advising the SASSCAL executive on science, technology and capacity development, as well as formulating the centre’s information technology strategy.
