Tropical agriculture institute seeks five new employees

The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture is looking to fill five vacant positions at its research hubs in Tanzania and Nigeria.

In Nigeria, the institute is seeking a yam breeder and a research administrative manager. The yam breeder must have a PhD and seven years’ postdoctoral experience. The deadline for applications is 30 May. The research administrative manager must have a master’s degree in chemistry or food science, and the deadline is 1 April.

In Tanzania, IITA is recruiting a project coordinator and monitoring and evaluation specialist, a head for the biometrics and statistics unit, and a postdoctoral fellow in vector entomology.
