Two vacancies at Philips research hub in Nairobi

The Philips Africa Innovation Hub seeks to employ two people for posts based in its offices in Nairobi, Kenya. The vacant positions are for a medical informatics/healthcare scientist and a senior health economist.

The Philips Africa Innovation Hub was launched on 20 March 2014 and targets applied research. Its first initiatives included research into pneumonia diagnostics, community care services, smokeless stoves and solar technologies.

The informatics scientist will be part of Philips Healthcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for clinical workflows, support tools for clinical decision makers and validation of innovations, including clinical trials.
