Indigenous vegetables get research push

A US university is leading research into the sustainable cultivation of indigenous vegetables in three East African countries.

Indiana-based Purdue University will lead the United States Agency for International Development-funded Horticulture Collaborative Research Project in Kenya, Tanzania and Zambia.
