The Technical University of Kenya and the African Technology Policy Studies Network have partnered to conduct research that will inform science policies on the continent.
Nicolas Ozor, ATPS director and Francis Adoul, the vice-chancellor for TU-K, signed an agreement on 12 February to research food security, technology transfer, sustainable environmental management, enterprise competitiveness, gender, climate change and health.
Aduol said the partnership should help to provide the skills the continent needs to improve its policymaking processes.
