Oil company sets up laboratory at University of Nairobi

The National Oil Corporation of Kenya will open a laboratory at the University of Nairobi to do research and train students in petroleum studies.

NOCK will also provide equipment worth US$1 million to the National Oil Geochemical and Petrophysical Laboratory once it has been set up, said a statement released by the University of Nairobi on 19 March.

A bachelor degree in petroleum studies will also be introduced in May as part of the partnership.
