Nairobi and Washington State link up on research

Kenya’s University of Nairobi is set to enter into a research and training partnership with Washington State University in the US.

The institutions will sign an agreement this month to explore areas of joint research and training, as well as create faculty and student exchange programmes.

The plans were announced last month when Guy Palmer, chairman and founding director of WSU’s school of global animal health, visited Peter Mbithi, University of Nairobi vice-chancellor.
