The Association of African Universities is offering internship grants for postgraduate students in Eastern and Southern Africa, as well as to Francophone Africans, wanting to gain work experience.
Up to US$600 per person in total is offered for the internships, which should range from 12 to 24 weeks. Applicants must be postgraduate students at AAU member universities in Southern or Eastern Africa. They can also be from universities in Francophone member countries such as Senegal and Cameroon.
The grants are for the internship training, and are not meant for thesis or dissertation work. The deadline for applications is imminent: 15 August.
