The Volkswagen Foundation invites pre-proposals for postdoctoral fellowships supporting collaborative research projects between Africa and Germany.
Funding targets African postdoctoral researchers based in sub-Saharan Africa, or those abroad who wish to return to the continent. The call opened on 21 January and will close on 6 April.
The foundation is looking to fund inter-disciplinary research into sustainable livelihoods with a focus on natural resources. This includes climate change, agriculture, biodiversity, disaster management, innovation, and resource management.
