Canadian funder opens West and Central Africa office

       

New IDRC centre will focus on climate change, poverty and gender equality

Canada’s International Development Research Centre has opened an office dedicated to West and Central Africa.

The office in Dakar, Senegal, was inaugurated on 12 February by Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau, who was accompanied by Jean Lebel, the president of the IDRC.
