Algeria seeks seismologists for new university

Algeria plans to open a university focusing on seismology in partnership with Japan’s International Institute of Seismology and Earthquake Engineering next year.

The university will study earthquakes and tsunamis, with a focus on North Africa, where a seismic belt runs through Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco.
