Funds on offer to study Arab revolutions

A US aid agency is offering grants for individual researchers or groups who want to study the social movements that fuelled recent revolutions in the Arab world.

The maximum grant of US$50,000 is available for researchers to spend up to eight months on case studies of recent social movements in the Middle East and North Africa.

Funding comes from the US Agency for International Development. Researchers from any country can apply.
