Key African higher education official leaves post

Alice Lamptey, coordinator of the Working Group on Higher Education at the Ethiopia-based Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA), has left after over a decade with the organisation.

Lamptey announced her departure in an email circular sent on 2 January to friends and colleagues in the African higher education policy sphere.

“After eleven years and 8 months of productive service its time to thank ADEA and to everyone say it’s been a pleasure knowing and working with you,” she wrote.
