A conference on African data poverty and ways to alleviate it will take place from 27 to 29 March in Addis Ababa, the Ethiopian capital.
The African Union, the African Development Bank, the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and the United Nations Development Programme are organising the event.
Its theme will be ‘Setting the scene for a sustainable development agenda powered by data revolution in Africa’.
