Nominations open for 2016 TWAS prizes

Scientists have until 29 February to nominate colleagues for the 2016 prizes for developing country researchers offered by The World Academy of Sciences.

The US$15,000 prizes are awarded in nine categories in recognition of scientific excellence in developing nations or the application of science and technology to sustainable development.

Members of TWAS, science academies, research councils, universities and other scientific organisations in the developing world can make nominations. Self-nomination is not allowed.
