A UK research fund is calling for applications from early-career researchers in Africa for a fellowship purported to be a first stepping stone in their health research careers.
The Africa Research Excellence Fund is a charity affiliated to the Medical Research Foundation. Its fellowships aim to develop the skills of talented young African health researchers and help them form linkages for future projects.
The fellowships are open to active researchers from any sub-Saharan African nation apart from South Africa. Experience requirements have been extended to a maximum of five years post-doctoral for the current call.
