Germany backs ‘one health’ research centre in Kenya
Germany’s ministry for economic cooperation and development will set up an African “one health” research centre in Kenya, to be hosted by the International Livestock Research Institute. The pair signed an agreement to establish the One Health Research, Education, and Outreach Centre for Africa on 11 November. The centre will focus on zoonotic diseases, food-borne diseases, and antimicrobial resistance.
