Scientists say efforts should target training, uptake, design and manufacturing capabilities to unblock vaccine pipeline

Africa needs increased and sustained investments in vaccinology, a trio of researchers argue in a paper published this week. 

There’s an extensive pipeline of vaccines targeting African priority diseases, write Jennifer Moïsi from France and Shabir Ahmed Mahdi and Helen Rees from South Africa in their paper, published on 20 September in BMJ Global Health.
